Canadian Tire was founded in 1922 by two brothers John W. and Alfred J.Billes, with total income of $1800. In 1927 A.J Billes choose the Canadian Tire Corporation as official name of the company. In 1963 Canadian Tire opens its new Distribution center in Toronto. Canadian Tire is considered as Canada’s largest and newest store which emphasis on providing excellent customers service by employing 58,000 employees. Canadian Tire is making efforts towards its main business Canadian Tire Retail which is most-shopped merchandise business with 482 stores across the country. Canadian Tire is main dealer in its three products-

Canadian Tire having 26 franchise and 61 corporate especially automotive stores. But many stores work in different categories of automotive parts, automotive services, tools and hardware, sporting goods etc.

Parts of Canadian Tire-

• 1      Online Store- It was online purchasing store, where customers buy goods and services from Canadian Tire online.
• 2      Part source automotive store-It was opened to help real buyer of auto parts including business car installer and other people. Maximum stores of part source are opened and operated by Canadian Tire.
• 3       Canadian Tire financial services- Under this, Canadian Tire operates a bank under Canada’s Bank Act whose main purpose is providing credit card and loans but these cards and loans are different from original loan, also providing insurance and warranty products.
• 4      Canadian Tire Petroleum- It provides Oil changes and rust checks services to customers. Canadian Tire was the number one retailers that begin the selling of gas at their stores.
